Hardware Restoration
If you have any valuable antique hardware that is heavily painted over, worn and torn or just tarnished we have hardware restoration facilities to accommodate most needs be it doorknobs, hinges, locks, etc. Since antique hardware is becoming increasingly hard to replace, restoring them is a cost effective way to improving the beauty as well as its intrinsic value.
Restoration prices do vary depending upon the scope of work needed to be done and the size of the object. Most jobs can be completed from a few days to a week.
Solid brass hardware is the best to be
restored. Items that are either chrome or brass plated usually cannot be safely
refinished by us but rather have to be re-plated (a service that we do not offer
at this time).
